Tracy, Anthrop and Nakashima Continue to Shine on Pro Circuit

COLUMBUS, Ohio – It's been a solid summer so far for a number of Buckeyes as JJ Tracy, Jack Anthrop and Bryce Nakashima all finaled in pro events last week.
Tracy reached the singles final of the 25K event in Quebec last week, beating Canadians Adam Faragcao and Jaden Weekes as well as Kentucky All-American Alafia Ayeni and Japan's Leo Vithoontien in the semifinals. He fell in the finals in a three-set match to Florida, now Tennessee standout, Blaise Bicknell.
This was Tracy's second final this summer as he also won his first professional event last month, winning the 15K in South Bend. He is currently ranked 674 in the latest ATP rankings. Tracy was a first team All-Big Ten performer this past season with a 27-9 singles record, and he rose to as high as No. 5 in the collegiate singles rankings.
Anthrop and Nakashima also reached their second doubles final this summer. The pair won the 15K in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., at the start of June and paired again to reach the finals at the 15K in Lakewood, Calif., this past week. In addition to the doubles win in Santa Fe, Anthrop also reached the quarterfinals of the singles draw and then reached the finals at the 15K in San Diego the following week. He has a current ATP singles ranking of 870.
Nakashima has had a great doubles run this season, reaching the finals of three events and the semifinals of another. He has won a pair of doubles titles and is currently ranked a career-high 768 in the ATP doubles rankings.
