Wrapping up another busy week in Buckeye athletics …
The men’s tennis team defeated Arizona, 4-2, Saturday to advance to the NCAA championship quarterfinals where they will play Georgia Thursday evening in Orlando, Fla. The Buckeyes are 32-2 on the season.

The women’s golf team’s season came to a close this past week by placing sixth at the NCAA Athens Regional. The team missed out on a berth in the NCAA championships field by just two strokes.

The women’s track and field team finished as the runner-up at the Big Ten championships while the men’s team finished 10th. The women had four Big Ten champions: Leah Bertrand (100 meters), Yanique Dayle (200 meters), 4x100m relay (Dayle, Nya Bussey, Alyssa Marsh and Bertrand) and the 4x400m relay (Bryannia Murphy, Dayle, Marsh and Jaydan Wood).

Ohio State just missed repeating – by three tenths of a second – as Big Ten rowing champion over the weekend, finishing the championships as the runner-up with 169 points and just five points behind the eventual champion.
The baseball Buckeyes swept UNC Greensboro over the weekend and have now won six consecutive games to improve their record to 28-25.
