
Buckeyes Place Sixth at NCAA Athens Regional

ATHENS, Ga. – The Ohio State women's golf team's 2022-23 season came to a close on Wednesday as the Buckeyes placed sixth at the NCAA Athens Regional. The Buckeyes shot a 54-hole score of 887 (+23), placing just two strokes behind fifth-place Augusta.
Kary Hollenbaugh was the top individual finisher for the Buckeyes, placing tied for 16th. She fired a 70 (-2) in the final round of play for a 54-hole score of 220 (+4).
Lauren Peter shot 74 (+2) in the final round of play on Wednesday. She finished with a total score of 221 (+5) and tied for 20th place.
Aneka Seumanutafa tied for 27th place after shaving five strokes off her round two score to card a 73 (+1) in the final round. She totaled a 223 (+7) over three rounds.
Caley McGinty tied for 37th place. She shot 79 (+7) in the third round for a 54-hole total score of 226 (+10).
Kailie Vongsaga was a substitute for Jillian Bourdage and played in the final round on Wednesday. She carded a 79 (+7).
