Five Named CSC Academic All-District

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Five members of the women's soccer team earned CSC Academic All-District honors this season. Senior Christin Baumbick, junior Kailyn Dudukovich and sophomores Mirann Gacioch, Sophia Louder and Brooke Otto all garnered the award.
To be considered for CSC Academic All-District, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, have played in 90 percent of the contests and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
Dudukovich earns the award for the second consecutive season. The West Chester, Ohio native led the team with a career-high 11 goals and 27 points. Baumbick also had a career-high two goals and added an assist. Louder played in 18 of the 19 games and scored her first collegiate goal in the Big Ten opener at Michigan State. Gacioch and Otto were two of the anchors on the back line as they both played in all 19 matches.
