Ryan Earns 200th Win at Ohio State with 53-0 Victory over Edinboro

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- No. 7 Ohio State (2-0) earned its second dual victory of the season with a 53-0 win over visiting Edinboro (0-1) Sunday at the Covelli Center. The win gave Tom Ryan, head coach of the Buckeyes, his 200th dual victory at Ohio State. He now has 309 for his career.

125 Brendan McCrone (OSU) def. Caleb Edwards (EDIN) | F, 1:05
McCrone went right to work and earned the fall just 1:05 into the first period to give the Buckeyes a 6-0 lead in the team standings.

133 No. 14 Nic Bouzakis (OSU) def. Jacob Brenneman (EDIN) | TF, 20-4
Bouzakis scored first with a takedown for a 3-1 lead after a Brenneman escape. Bouzakis added another pair of takedowns to lead 9-2 after three minutes. Brenneman chose bottom to open the second period and was able to escape to make it 9-3 Buckeyes. Bouzakis added another pair ot takedowns to lead 15-4 going to the third. With another takedown and a point for riding time, Bouzakis finished off the match with a win by technical fall, 20-4.

Mendez, like Bouzakis, also needed just over a minute to get the fall and the six points added to the Ohio State team score.

D'Emillo used less than a minute to get the third fall of the match for the Buckeyes and another six team points.

157 No. 16 Paddy Gallagher (OSU) def. Colin Roberts (EDIN) | F, 2:15
Gallagher scored two quick takedowns for a 6-2 lead. He finished off the match with a fall at 2:15.

Wilcox opened with a pair ot takedowns and added a four-point near fall for a 10-1 lead. Wilcox went on to win by technical fall, 21-4 in the second period.

174 No. 7 Carson Kharchla (OSU) def. Gabe Stafford (EDIN) | TF, 21-5
Kharchla posted three takedowns by the midway point of the first period for a 9-3 lead. The lead grew in the second period for a 21-5 win by technical fall.

184 Seth Shumate (OSU) def. Brody Evans (EDIN) | MD, 18-4
Shumate led 9-2 after the first period with three takedowns. The lead grew to 16-4 after the second period before finishing off the match with an 18-4 win by major decision.

197 No. 19 Luke Geog (OSU) def. Jack Kilner (EDIN) | TF, 20-2
Geog went up 9-2 on three takedowns in the first. He added a four-point near fall to lead 13-2 heading into the second. A reversal by the redshirt freshman Buckeye made it 15-2 before another four point near fall eared the 20-2 win by technical fall.

HWT No. 20 Nick Feldman (OSU) def. Nick Lodato (EDIN) | TF, 23-6
Feldman went up 6-1 on two takedowns early in the first period. Another three takedowns made it 15-4 heading into the second. The match ended with two more takedowns for a 22-6 win by technical fall.
