COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State made its 17^th NCAA appearance on Saturday evening as the Buckeyes took on No. 11 Pitt at Ambrose Urbanic Field in Pittsburgh. The Panthers raced out to a first half lead and would go on to win the opening round match 6-0.

The Buckeyes finish the season with nine wins, including a pair of wins over ranked opponents against No. 16 Indiana and at No. 12 Wisconsin.

Senior Emma Sears, playing in her final collegiate game, led the Buckeyes with five shot attempts. She finishes her career 12^th in school history with 25 goals and 11^th with 65 points.

Captain Peyton McNamara recorded a pair of shots on goal in the game, as did freshman Ava Bramblett.

Junior forward Kailyn Dudukovich led the team this season with 11 goals and 27 points. She is just the 10th player in program history to have scored 11 or more goals in a season and her 27 points are ninth-most in a season.

Fellow forward Amanda Schlueter finished the year with 19 points, which is sixth-most by a freshman in program history.

All 17 of Ohio State's NCAA Tournament appearances have come under head coach Lori Walker-Hock who recorded her 300^th career victory earlier this season. The Buckeyes also had six All-Big Ten honorees, led by Sears who earned first team honors for the first time in her career.
