- Tracy and Cash earned their spot by winning the season-opening ITA All-American Doubles Championship in Tulsa, Okla., earlier this month. They are the fourth Buckeye doubles team to win the event and made the program's seventh finals appearance.
- Tracy then continued his month by winning the singles title at the ITA Midwest Regional, beating teammate Bernard in the final. In fact, the semifinals of the regional was made up of all Buckeyes as Anthrop and freshman Bryce Nakashima also reached the final four.
- Tracy has a 7-1 singles record this season fall and a team-best 10-1 doubles mark.
- Anthrop advanced through qualifying and reached the round of 16 at the All-American Championship before losing to the eventual runner-up. He then made a semifinals appearance in both singles and doubles at the Midwest Regional. Anthrop has a team-high nine singles wins this fall.
- Cash has an 8-1 doubles record this fall, losing only in the semifinals of the Midwest Regional. He and Tracy were dominant in Tulsa and will look to continue that form this week.
- Ohio State has had back-to-back Fall National Doubles Champions as Cash and Matej Vocel won in 2021 and Tracy and Andrew Lutschaunig won last fall. Cash and John McNally also reached the finals in 2019.
- The Buckeyes are tied with USC for the most doubles titles in the event with five.
- Singles and doubles match both start on Wednesday. Tracy starts the day for the Buckeyes at 1:45 p.m. ET against Pau Fanlo of Memphis. Anthrop will take on Daniel Sancho Arbizu of Denver at 2:15 p.m. ET and Bernard will play Enzo Aguiard of Alabama at 3:30 p.m. In doubles, Cash and Tracy open against Nic Wiedenhorn and Anton Shepp of Nebraska at 8:30 p.m.
