COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State concludes the September slate this Thursday when the Buckeyes travel to Bloomington to take on Indiana. The match is set for a 7 p.m. kick and will be streamed on BTN+.
- The all-time series between the two teams is close as the Buckeyes lead 15-13-3. The Buckeyes have won three of the last four meetings between the two teams.
- In last year’s game in Columbus, the team ended 110 minutes of soccer tied at 1-1. Kayla Fischer scored the Buckeyes’ goal in the 8th minute off an assist by Kailyn Dudukovich.
- The first RPI of the season will released last week and the Buckeyes found themselves at No. 10. This week, the Buckeyes are at No. 23, which is third-best in the Big Ten.
- Indiana started the season with eight consecutive shutouts and was 2-0-6. But the Hoosiers have lost their last two matches to Minnesota and Wisconsin, surrendering a total of five goals. The eight team shutouts are tops in the Big Ten and second nationally behind Idaho’s nine.
- Junior midfielder Kine Flotre scored off a free kick in the 2-0 victory last Sunday vs. Iowa, notching her first goal of the season. The Norwegian now has five goals in her career.
- The goalkeeping tandem of Kat Robinson and Molly Pritchard have combined for a total of five shutouts on the season.
- Sophomore Kailyn Dudukovich scored the game-winning goal in the fifth minute vs. Iowa on Sunday. It was her second goal of the season.
- Junior midfielder Peyton McNamara and senior forward Emma Sears are tied for the team lead with four goals on the year. Sears is also tied with Olivia Sensky with a team-high two assists.
