
Finals Set for Varsity Wrestle-Offs Thursday

COLUMBUS, Ohio –Wrestle-offs to help determine the 2022-23 lineup for the No. 4 Ohio State wrestling team have been set after preliminary rounds took place Tuesday.
The finals are open to the public and will be held at the Covelli Center Thursday. Admission is free. Competition will be livestreamed and available on B1G+($).
The Ohio State wrestling program invites cancer survivors, those battling the disease and their family members to the competition Thursday. Those in attendance will be recognized and hear from Ohio State freshman Nic Bouzakis, who will tell his family story about the loss of his brother, Greco Roman, and how Nic has chosen to honor his brother’s memory.
The first match of the regular season will be against Virginia Tech Nov. 11 (7 p.m.).
Hear Tom Ryan talk 2022-23 Wrestle-Offs Thursday (8 p.m./B1G+/free admission), invite cancer survivors and families to the match to be recognized and to look for an interview with freshman Nic Bouzakis on how he honors his brother, who lost his fight with the disease.
