COLUMBUS, Ohio –Ohio State (3-4-1 B1G) dropped a 2-0 decision at Michigan (5-2-1) Wednesday at the U-M Soccer Stadium in Ann Arbor.
The Wolverines scored early in the second half with a goal in the 48th minute to take a 1-0 lead.
The Buckeyes put together a few opportunities in the second half but came up just short of getting the equalizer before the Wolverines scored again in the 84th minute for the 2-0 final.

Neither team was able to generate much offense in the first half with the Wolverines recording the only shot on goal, which was saved by the Buckeyes’ senior keeper Noah Lawrence.
Lawrence faced just three shots on net behind the hard-working Buckeye defense. Michigan took nine shots while the Buckeyes managed three, one on goal.

The Buckeyes return to Columbus to face Michigan State at 1 p.m. Sunday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in the regular-season finale. The Buckeyes will celebrate the careers of nine seniors in pregame ceremonies.
