Senior Day Shutout: Buckeyes Down Northwestern 1-0

COLUMBUS, Ohio –Ohio State (5-1-3) celebrated senior day Sunday with a 1-0 win over Northwestern (5-5-0) at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The Buckeyes have won the last three games, two by shutout and are 3-0-2 in the last five outings.
Freshman Kine Flotre scored her third goal of the year in the 10th minute to give Ohio State the only offense it needed in the win.

Senior keeper Baily Kolinski posted her second-consecutive shutout, saving all four Wildcat shots on goal. Ohio State managed nine shots in the game, five by Kayla Fischer, in the win.

Prior to the game, the Buckeyes recognized seniors Alyssa Baumbick, Meghan Kammerdeiner, Olivia Petit and Maggie Samanich during senior day festivities.
The Buckeyes are off until Saturday when they travel for a 1 p.m. game at Michigan State.
