COLUMBUS, Ohio – The season is almost here! 17th-ranked Ohio State will host DII Indianapolis in a exhibition game on Monday night at Value City Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be streamed on B1G+.
Single game and season tickets are sale at the Ohio State Office online. The regular season will open with three consecutive home games, starting on Nov. 9 vs. Akron.
- The Buckeyes bring back a veteran group from a team that was 21-10 last season, runner-up at the Big Ten Tournament and a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
- Indianapolis was 11-12 last season and was picked fourth in the East Division of the GLVC Men’s Basketball Preseason Poll.
- The Greyhounds had four players average in double-figures last year and all four players return this season.
- Indianapolis assistant coach Roosevelt Jones played for Ohio State head coach Chris Holtmann when the two were at Butler.
- Ohio State is led this season by four captains in Justin Ahrens, E.J. Liddell, Justice Sueing and Kyle Young.
- Liddell was named Preseason All-Big and is on the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Watch List.
- Sueing was named to the Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year Watch List.
