
Malik Harrison Selected by Baltimore Ravens in NFL Draft

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Malik Harrison, a first-team All-Big Ten linebacker who led Ohio State in tackles as both a junior and senior, was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Harrison was selected with the 98th overall pick of the draft. He is the seventh Buckeye to be drafted and the fifth from a vaunted defense that led the nation in four categories including total defense (259.7 yards per game).
Harrison started 27 of 28 games over the last two seasons and totaled 205 career tackles, 29.0 tackles-for-loss and 10.0 quarterback sacks. As a senior, the conference coaches named him a first-team All-Big Ten selection. His 16.0 tackles for loss in 2019 were the fourth most by a linebacker in program history.

Harrison’s selection makes him the 20th Ohio State linebacker drafted since 2000. At least one Buckeye linebacker has been taken in 13 of the last 20 drafts.
