COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University women’s ice hockey team wrapped up another successful signing period by adding five future Buckeyes to its ranks. Among the five newcomers are three forwards, one defenseman and one goaltender.
“This incoming class is going to bring us a lot of depth,” head coach Nadine Muzerall said. “Last year we graduated three centers and next year we’re going to have a couple players coming in who can fill that center position, as well and just add more depth down the middle. This class is going to have speed and grit and strength and that’s the style of hockey I like. We’re also going to get a couple goal scorers and we’re bringing in a goalie too, so we’re adding depth all the way from goaltender up.”

In just her first year playing with Bell Tire, the team has won the CCM Tournament. For the previous three years, Brengman suited up for Little Caesars and won two state titles, one at the 14U level and another at the 16U level.
“I chose Ohio State because of the team environment. I love how close everyone is and I love the coaching staff. Overall, Ohio State is a great school with a great hockey program.”
