130TH SEASON OF OHIO STATE FOOTBALL

The two-time defending Big Ten champion Ohio State Buckeyes are set to open their 130th season of football on Saturday against Florida Atlantic at Ohio Stadium. Coming off their 37th conference title and eighth Rose Bowl win in school history, the Scarlet and Gray welcome back 51 total letterwinners, 13 starters and 14 fifth-year seniors.

THE RYAN DAY ERA BEGINS

The 25th head coach in Ohio State history, Ryan Day officially took the reins of the Buckeye program in the moments following last season’s 28-23 victory over Washington in the Rose Bowl. His first Ohio State team has experience, particularly on the defensive side of the ball: nine of 11 starters return, including preseason firstteam All-American Chase Young.
