Kevin Wilson, Offensive Coordinator / Tight Ends
On FAU defense:
There will be some jockeying in the first quarter. In my two years, we do a bunch of game planning and half the time, they line up completely different. Your ability to adjust will help your offense.

Jeff Hafley, Co-Defensive Coordinator / Secondary Coach
This is a players’ game. Sometimes as a coach, we over complicate things. If we over-complicate and confuse them, it doesn’t look good on Saturday. We try to make it as crystal clear as we can do we can go play ball on Saturday.
On FAU head coach Lane Kiffin:
I think he’s a really smart football coach. He knows how to attack defenses and attack schemes. I respect him as a football coach.
Brandon Bowen, OL
The biggest thing I’ve improved on is my attitude. When something bad happens, I have the ability to shake it off and get right back at it.
On offensive line:
What will make us great as a group is our chemistry. We’re all really close. We’ve been close in the past, but not at this level.
Robert Landers, DL
On Coach Day growing into the role:
You can see he’s much more comfortable growing into the role. I appreciate the way he’s structured things. He has his own separate style from Coach Meyer. But at the end of the day, he’s been around here long enough that he understands how the ship works.
Tuf Borland, LB
On the defense having a chip on its shoulder after last season:
We definitely have a chip on our shoulder, seeing the way things went over the course of the year last year. It’s a new year. We’ve got a group of guys that have bought into the system, new coaches, and I’m excited to play football.
