Ethan Smith Gains ‘Black Shirt’ Status

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ethan Smith has traded in his gray attire for the coveted ‘black shirt’ collection. He is the fourth member of the Ohio State wrestling program to be given the honor. Earning the black shirt signifies that Smith is conducting himself the right way on and off the mat.
Only individuals deserving of elite distinction are bestowed a black shirt and earn the privilege of wearing black inside the Jennings Wrestling Facility. Smith joins fellow black shirts Kollin Moore, Luke Pletcher and Sammy Sasso in assisting the coaching staff in determining future ‘black shirt worthy’ teammates.
