Hyde Loves “Revenge Games”
Remember a few weeks back when Houston RB Carlos Hyde tore through Kansas City, his former team, for 116 yards? He ran even tougher against Jacksonville, another team he previously played for. In Sunday’s Texans-Jaguars game over in London, “El Guapo” churned out a season-high 160 yards on 19 carries, good for 8.4 yards per carry. Through nine games, he’s up to 704 yards on the ground, giving him the seventh-best total in the NFL. (Image courtesy: houstontexans.com)

RBs with at least 4.7 yards per carry and 75 yards per game, Texans history:
– Arian Foster – 2010
– Arian Foster – 2014
– Steve Slaton – 2008
– Carlos Hyde – 2019It’s almost unbelievable how good Hyde’s been this season. Good for him.

Bear-y Good
Everyone knows Chargers DE Joey Bosa is a game-wrecking force. What no one knows is how to stop him. That trend continued in Los Angeles’ 26-11 W vs. Green Bay. “Big Bear” notched 1.5 sacks, and a tackle for loss to go along with four tackles (two solo and two assisted). Bosa’s four QB Hits on Sunday tied his career high, and after another dominant performance, he sits tied for fourth among this season’s sack leaders and for first (along with his brother Nick and two others) in TFL leaders. Haskins at the Helm
The 15th overall pick in April’s draft finally got to fill the role of QB1. Redskins QB Dwayne Haskins registered a pretty efficient, turnover-free outing with 15 completions for 144 yards, three of which found the hands of fellow former Buckeye Terry McLaurin for 39 yards. Haskins also ran the ball three times for 14 yards. His effort wasn’t quite good enough for a win, as his team fell 24-9 in Buffalo, but it should be enough to give “Simba” some confidence moving forward. (Image courtesy: redskins.com)

Lost in yesterday @dh_simba7 had a really nice afternoon against a good @BuffaloBills defense. The 2 best things he did
-saw coverages well and threw ball to the right guys/place
-played with really good timing on his throwsStay hungry

Conley’s Career Game
Houston’s newest CB Gareon Conley faced Oakland, his former team, last week in his first game as a Texan. After Sunday’s game, it appears two weeks was enough to settle into his role in a new secondary. Conley racked up a career-high eight solo tackles Sunday against Jacksonville, and he broke up what would have likely been two completions. His Texans beat their division rival 26-3 across the pond. Gareon Conley refused to get beat, got his hand in there to break it up, and turned it over on downs for the Texans.
GM O’Brien gave him a chance at a fresh start, and Conley’s not wasting it.

Samuel Showin’ Off
Panthers WR Curtis Samuel is becoming a staple in Carolina’s stacked offensive attack. In Sunday’s 30-20 victory over Tennessee, Samuel showed the versatility that made him a successful Buckeye H-Back with three catches for 64 yards as well as a 10-yard carry. With those receiving numbers, the third-year pro has reached 30 catches and surpassed 400 yards this season. He also leads the Panthers with 12.6 yards per touch and has scored four total touchdowns, more than any Carolina skill player not named Christian McCaffrey. (Image courtesy: panthers.com)
Beautiful route by Curtis Samuel vs Malcolm Butler.

Parris Campbell in Pittsburgh
Another former Ohio State H-Back put up his best numbers of the season so far. In a narrow 26-24 loss to the Steelers, Colts WR Parris Campbell made the most of an increase in snaps, which come as a result of an injury to Indy’s star T.Y. Hilton. Campbell proved his own versatility by rushing three times for 27 yards and catching all five passes thrown his way for 53 yards. (Image courtesy: colts.com)
IND WR snaps with TY Hilton out:
Zach Pascal 66-of-70
Chester Rogers 46
Parris Campbell 43
Deon Cain 20
Ashton Dulin 0— Adam Levitan (@adamlevitan) November 4, 2019
In an expanded role with T.Y. Hilton sidelined with a calf injury, #Colts rookie wide receiver Parris Campbell had the most productive day of his young career in the team’s loss to the #Steelers Sunday at Heinz Field.

Zeke, Still a Freak
Dallas RB Ezekiel Elliott put up his third-straight 100-plus yard game rushing, his fifth such performance this season. With a season-high 139 yards in a 37-18 Monday Night at the Giants, Zeke is up to 741 yards for the season so far. That mark ranks him sixth in the league, and his 93 rushing yards per game is fourth-best among qualified backs. Elliott’s forceful running is perhaps the most important part of a surging Cowboys offense entering the season’s second half. (Image courtesy: dallascowboys.com)
