Nick Bosa: DPOY?
Nick Bosa has done just about everything but lose since being drafted into the NFL. San Francisco maintained its undefeated record by drubbing Carolina 51-13 on Sunday, and the stud DE continued his magnificent start with another monster stat line: four solo tackles, three tackles for loss, and a career-high three sacks. Not to mention he also nabbed his first career interception and nearly returned it for a touchdown (Image courtesy: 49ers.com)

Nick Bosa is a bad man! Just avoiding this cut block is impressive…the rest is ridiculous. pic.twitter.com/EfcH5gtULe

Joey Not Far Behind
The Bosa brothers are becoming a package deal in these weekly write-ups. The Chargers’ defense was to thank for the end to a three-game losing streak, and Joey Bosa was to thank for how the defense performed overall. In a 17-16 win in the Windy City, he had seven solo tackles, four tackles for loss, and a pair of sacks. Elder Bosa now owns nine multi-sack games in his career, and four TFL gives him a career-best mark. (Image courtesy: chargers.com)

Thomas, the Top WR
WR Michael Thomas and his Saints played without Drew Brees for five weeks during Brees’ injury. In a 31-9 Sunday W against the Cardinals, the veteran QB returned, and Thomas helped welcome him back into the lineup by reeling in 11 catches for 112 yards and a touchdown. Thomas now has five-plus receptions in 13 straight games, a record among active NFL WRs. And that’s not even his most impressive feat so far. (Image courtesy: neworleanssaints.com)
Now halfway through the season, Saints WR Michael Thomas is on pace for 146 catches, 1,750 receiving yards and 8 TD. That would be the most catches in a single season in NFL history. The man is unstoppable.

Hankins Hot in Houston
Late-game heroics from the Texans gave them a 27-24 victory over Oakland, and it was the play of Raiders defenders like DT Johnathan Hankins that took the game to the wire. The big fella registered his first sack of the season, also his first since December 2017, to go along with four total tackles and a tackle for loss. Hankins’ 25 total tackles and 16 solo ones lead all Raiders D-Linemen through seven games. (Image courtesy: raiders.com)

Miami’s Middle Linebackers
Miami’s only primetime game this season came Monday night in Pittsburgh, and though it lost 27-14, young, talented Dolphins like LB Jerome Baker got a chance to show the league their worth. He made it count by recording eight total tackles and two for a loss. Raekwon McMillan plays right next to Baker in Miami’s defense, and the third-year LB chipped in with four total tackles Monday night. The former Silver Bullets are the Dolphins’ best two tacklers this season, combining for 100 thus far. (Image courtesy: dolphins.com)
