
Buckeyes Tied for Seventh After Day Two in North Carolina

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Ohio State women's golf team sits in a tie for seventh after 36 holes of play in the 44th annual Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational. The Buckeyes carded a 1-over 289 to follow their 284 from Friday's competition.
Sophomore Aneka Seumanutafa continues to lead the field in a tie for first after day two. She carded a 1-under 71 in the second round. Senior Adeena Shears shot a 4-under 68, her best round of the year and second-best of her career, bumping her up to sit in a tie for 13th with a 3-under 141. Sophomore Lauren Peter and junior Yukie Sasaki both carded 75's in the second round, placing them in a tie for 58th. Skylar Thompson shot a 6-over 78 Saturday to round out the Buckeye lineup. Individual Kristin Jamieson carded an 8-over 80 to close out the Buckeyes' second round.
