K.J. Hill
On how he’s playing this season:
I can’t do anything without my brothers. The offensive line is blocking and Dwayne (Haskins) is delivering perfect passes to me. I just got to do my part. When I do that, everything works out.
On Dwayne Haskins:
He brings a lot, especially in his passing game. The way he delivers, just the type of quarterback he is. And he’s got more confidence as a leader now.
Jonathon Cooper
On taking a bigger role with Nick Bosa out:
Our motto as a defense line is “Next man up,” and guys just have to step up now. I feel like our entire defensive line is going to step up, and we’re not going to miss a beat.
On being different than last year:
I feel like I’m more focused. I’ve taken a bigger role this year, and I feel like I can really help my team win.
Malik Harrison
On his development at Ohio State:
I feel like I’ve developed since getting here. I have to continue to get better every day. I knew I could compete with the guys that are here.
Dwayne Haskins
On how the offense can improve:
I feel like we can get better. We’re not in playoff form yet but we’re getting there. Execution and timing are the biggest things. If we can get the ball rolling from the start, we can be really dangerous.
J.K. Dobbins
On improving from last year:
I feel like I can block better. I’m more powerful and I have a lot more strength this year. And I’m faster.
Dre’Mont Jones
On scoring a touchdown:
You never envision scoring a touchdown as a defensive tackle. I would love to get another one … Finally I feel like I have more snaps under my belt. I’m getting a rhythm this season.
On defensive philosophy:
We are trying to prove as a defense we are the number one defense in this conference. Our goal is to stop the run, eliminate big plays and create turnovers no matter what week it is.
Isaiah Prince
On TCU defense:
They brought some new stuff. Some new blitzes we haven’t seen in film. I think we played really well. We didn’t give up many sacks. They’re one of the better defenses we have faced.
On game vs. TCU:
I feel like we left some points on the board. We are not going to go out every Saturday and play perfect. We haven’t shown all that we can do and as the season goes on, the offense will get better and better.
Malcolm Pridgeon
On lessons learned from TCU game:
It definitely was a game to learn from. (TCU) threw a lot of blitzes at us. It’s a great game for us to pick up things for the future. The O-line all graded out champions.
