OHIO STATE POSTGAME NOTES
- Ohio State improved to 7-0 all-time in the state of Texas
- Ohio State now owns 34 wins at road or neutral sites since 2012
- Ohio State improved to 13-4 on the road against ranked teams since 2007
- Ohio State improved to 21-7 all-time in indoor games
- Tonight marked the second 300-yard passing game for Dwayne Haskins in his first three games
- For the first time in program history, Ohio State played two consecutive “road” games at the same site. The Buckeyes ended the 2017 season at AT&T Stadium in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl and opened up its 2018 road schedule at the same stadium.
- With 64 yards on 18 carries, Mike Weber eclipsed the 2,000-yard mark for his career.
- Austin Mack’s 48-yard reception on the opening possession was a career long.
- Nick Bosa recorded a sack for the sixth straight game.
- The last time Ohio State scored two defensive touchdowns in the same game was Nov. 5, 2016 against Nebraska (INT returns by Damon Webb and Malik Hooker).
- The 93-yard rush was the longest play from scrimmage allowed by Ohio State in school history. The previous long plays were a 91-yard rush by Iowa’s Larry Ferguson in 1960 and a 90-yard pass play by Purdue’s Rick Trefzger-to-Craig Allen in 1994.
