
NACMA Best of Award- Multiplatform Branding Campaign

For this year’s seasonal campaign, our visual identity focused on the traditional fundamentals of design including typography, color, and space. Typography was the primary element as it illustrated the messaging, dictated the space, and interacted with the subject. Color indicated home and away content to align with our on-field look. Away game and post season themes were specific towards the opponent and/or setting. For print, the home game program covers kept these values and were thought about as a collective; a concept where the audience would have a reason to collect them all. Each program cover has the ability to stand on its own, but when all 7 are collected, they display the full lyrics to Ohio State’s fight song, “Across The Field.” Additionally, the spines are hand-numbered 1-7 and build out our iconic helmet stripe when stacked on a table or shelf. With a strong style guide in place, our content remained consistent and cohesive no matter where it lived.
