Men’s Basketball (8-1, 2-0 Big Ten) | Illinois Recap
- The men’s basketball team moved to 8-1 on the year after topping Illinois, 77-67, on Wednesday night in Chicago.
- Keyshawn Woods led Ohio State with 18 points while Kaleb Wesson added 13 points and seven rebounds. Musa Jallow flirted with a double-double, tallying 11 points and nine rebounds.
- The Buckeyes used a 23-7 run in the second half to take control of the game.
Wrestling (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) | Wisconsin Recap
- The wrestling Bucks opened began the 2018-19 slate with a 23-13 victory over Wisconsin on Sunday.
- Micah Jordan, Myles Martin, Joey McKenna, Kollin Moore, Luke Pletcher and Ethan Smith won their duals, with Smith earning a crucial win in the 174-pound bout. Smith rallied to defeat the No. 9 ranked wrestler in that class, putting the Buckeyes in the driver’s seat with Martin and Moore still to go.
