The only thing that the team is focused on is Northwestern and what we have to do this Saturday. We need to dominate just like we did on Saturday. They’re rugged guys and they definitely have smart coaching. We just have to go out there focused and execute all our plays and be tough.

It will be a good feeling. Whole different perspective than last year. Playing in Lucas Oil is a great atmosphere and great place. It will bring back memories and hopefully we’ll come out on top.
On playing in the Big Ten Championship
We treat it like another week although it is championship week. We’ll emphasis it a little more and have another great week of practice like we did last week. Northwestern has had another week to look at us, but we’re going to put in more hours and play as hard as we can.

We’re very ready for this game. It’s been the motto since the start of January: get to Indy. Now that it’s here, we have to take full advantage of the moment and have a great practice.
This is going to be a tough game. They pride themselves on toughness so we have to come in and bring our toughness as well.

Offensively, their quarterback is really talented. He can put the ball where it needs to be. Up front, we have to get after it because they’ve given up a lot of sacks this year but we have to keep going at our pace.

We realized when we are doing our jobs and when we are on, we can play good games. Even then, we can’t give up plays this coming Saturday. So there’s still stuff to work on and more things to improve upon.
On this upcoming Saturday
It’s really exciting. It’s a chance to play for a championship. Not too many people can say that. Not too many teams are playing this upcoming Saturday.
