Haskins ties Troy for B1G Record

Dwayne Haskins’ 405-yard passing, six total touchdown game vs. Maryland earned the sophomore from Potomac, Md., his Big Ten record-tying fifth Offensive Player of the Week award this season. Troy Smith also had five such honors during his 2006 Heisman Trophy-winning season.

Three Game-Tying TD Drives in the 4th

Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins directed three game-tying touchdown drives in the fourth quarter alone and then scored the winning touchdown in overtime to cap a wild day in College Park, Md., and give the Buckeyes a 52-51 victory over the Terrapins. Haskins was 11 of 15 for 118 yards and two touchdowns, plus he rushed for one score, in a fourth quarter that saw Ohio State trail 31-24, 38-31 and 45-38 only to come back and when a Maryland two-point passing try for the win fell incomplete.
