The NCAA Diversity and Inclusion social media campaign is a platform for student-athletes, administrators, coaches and fans across the country to start the discussion, speak out on, and promote diversity and inclusion as key elements of student-athlete success.
It is a partnership with the Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee (MOIC) and Student-Athlete Advisory Committees (SAACs). Here’s how the Ohio State SAAC participated.

Before OSU, Leon was born in China and has lived in Missouri, New Jersey, Mississippi, and Cincinnati. He has performed at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade and Rose Bowl as a musician. Leon is so much more than a student-athlete and we are so lucky to have him! #NCAAInclusion

On Day 2 of @NCAA Diversity and Inclusion Week, we shatter stereotypes related to athletics. Share with us how you go beyond a label to debunk stereotypes student-athletes face! #NCAAInclusion

Today is all about debunking stereotypes. A lot of people think we have it easy in college because we are athletes. The balance of being a student-athlete is a challenge itself. Maintaining a 3.8 GPA on top of competing at a D1 institution is far from easy. #NCAAInclusion pic.twitter.com/bKMCpKwkPZ

Today, Day 2 of NCAA Diversity and Inclusion week, we are DEBUNKING athletic related stereotypes. For RAS very own Asa Burke, not only is he a 2018 Big Ten Track & Field Champion, but he is a two-time Ohio State Scholar-athlete and earned the 2018 Academic All-Big Ten selection. pic.twitter.com/KoripoQRBO
