We respect their offense a lot. They have some really good playmakers. We’ve been working hard to focus on (their schemes) and everybody doing their jobs.

We take it one game at a time. They’re on the schedule so we don’t take them lightly. We take every game as if it’s a championship because that’s how teams try to play us. We’re Ohio State and the No. 2 team in the country. All we need to do is get a good week of preparation and come out Saturday ready to play.

I love him. I loved coaching him. Fantastic player, one of the best I’ve ever coached. He’s going to heal up and be a great player at the next level.

That’s my brother. He made the best decision for him. I’m proud of him for making it because I know it’s definitely not easy. That’s still our brother and that’s still our captain. He had to make the best decision for him.

I don’t know when he switched to safety but he’s learned so fast. He’s a natural and one of the best athletes on this team. He’s progressing really nicely.
On Purdue
They have so many ways to attack you. No. 4 is a guy to look out for at all times. They have two tight ends that can catch the ball, all their receivers are good and their quarterback’s a senior so he’s a guy that has some experience. Their offense is putting up about 500 yards per game.

Every time you get an opportunity to go out there on offense and need to score, it’s because you know you might be in a shootout playing against those guys. Looking forward to playing them.
On the season so far
I never really thought this would happen the way it’s going. But I’m excited for it and enjoying the moment. It’s a lot of fun out there especially with Coach Day and Coach Wilson. The plays they’re putting together, it’s just a quarterback’s dream.
