
Lee Leads Buckeyes on Final Day at Tar Heel Invitational

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Ohio State women’s golf team posted a final-round 298 to finish 13th at the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational Sunday at UNC Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C. Junior Jaclyn Lee shot a 2-under 70, her third round below par in as many chances at the event, to tie for 16th overall.
Lee birdied three of her final six holes to move into the tie for 16th at 4-under while sophomore Alex Wright shot a 2-over 74 in her final round to finish in a tie for 26th. Redshirt senior Rio Watanabe struggled Sunday with a final-round 82 to tie for 71st at 11-over after sitting at 1-over par through the first two rounds.
Junior Niki Schroeder and freshman Sofia Seldemirova each carded a final-round 77 to finish tied for 77th and tied for 86th, respectively.
