Program Celebrates 2015 Campaign with Postseason Banquet – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University women’s volleyball program gathered to celebrate the 2015 campaign at its postseason banquet. The Buckeyes racked up 25 wins and advanced to their fourth NCAA ‘Sweet 16’ since 2010 after earning hosting rights for the First & Second Rounds.

Awards for the 2015 season were presented as well:
COACHES AWARD – Emily Ruetter
Ruetter was selected by the coaching staff for this award for exemplifying what it means to be a Buckeye teammate, mentor, role model and all-round person representing the program; especially in working with her freshman counterpart Taylor Hughes.
HEART AWARD – Andrea Kacsits
Kacsits is this year’s recipient of the Heart Award, given to the student-athlete which shows the most heart throughout the season.
MOST OUTSTANDING PLAYER – Elizabeth Campbell
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR – Taylor Sandbothe
RADSTER AWARD (best defensive player) – Valeria León
