Meyer, Schiano, Tressel Highlight 85th Coaches Clinic – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The 85th Ohio State football coaches clinic will feature an impressive array of speakers, highlighted by Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer, former NFL head coach and now Ohio State assistant Greg Schiano and College Football Hall of Fame coach Jim Tressel, and an equally impressive group of clinic honorees, including former Ohio State coaches Earle Bruce and John Cooper, NFL Hall of Famer Cris Carter, Super Bowl winning coach Fred Pagac and the next Buckeye to enter the College Football Hall of Fame, Tom Cousineau.
The coaches’ clinic will be held April 14-16 at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center with the 2016 LiFE Sports Spring Game, presented by Nationwide, on Saturday at Ohio Stadium capping the annual event that typically draws 700 to 800 coaches from the state and surrounding region.
Meyer will lecture Friday at 12:05 p.m. on “motivating the human spirit.” Schiano will speak later that afternoon, at 2:50 p.m., on “defensive coaching 101” with Tressel’s talk, “macte virtue” taking place Friday at 2:05 p.m.
