Buckeyes give back!
Coach Urban Meyer, Joshua Perry and Ezekiel Elliott present our friend and muscular dystrophy patient, Jacob Jarvis, with a $10,000 donation to the Coach To Cure MD foundation.
College football coaches last weekend joined in support of the Coach To Cure MD program to support eliminating Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a genetic disorder diagnosed during childhood that primarily affects boys across all races and cultures. Currently, there is no cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy and limited therapeutic options exist. A young man who has this medical challenge – Jacob Jarvis – has become close friends of Coach Urban Meyer and the Ohio State football team. They were with the team for the Western Michigan game to help raise awareness for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and because Saturday was his special day across all of college football, Jacob was an honorary captain for the Buckeyes during the coin toss.
