2nd “Fastest Buckeye” competition details set
The Ohio State football program will be holding its 2nd “fastest Buckeye competition” over the next three weeks with the finals set for Ohio Stadium during the Buckeyes 2015 LifeSports Spring Game, presented by Nationwide. A preliminary round of sprints will take place Monday, April 6, at 5 p.m. at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. The semifinals will be held during the Student Appreciation Day practice and those advancing to the finals will compete April 18 during the spring game against current Buckeyes, including Ezekiel Elliott, and a selection of Buckeye alums.
So students: if you think you are fast – really fast! – and want to take part, here are the details:
- 1. Report to the Biggs Lobby of the Woody Hayes Athletic Center next Monday, April 6, at 5 p.m. for an informational session and preliminary rounds of racing.
2. The fastest individuals who emerge from this session will compete in a series of semifinal races during our student appreciation practice on April. 11.
3. The semifinals winner(s) will then have a date one week later to race the fastest Ohio State Buckeyes and some alums at halftime of the spring game.
This competition is only for current Ohio State students with a valid OSU ID. Spread the word and we hope to see you Monday at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center! GO BUCKS!
