Katja Pogacar Cracks Top-10 at the Landfall Tradition – Ohio State Buckeyes

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Katja Pogacar remained steady on Day Three of the Landfall Tradition, capping off the weekend with an even-par 72. She finished 1-over (217) for the tournament, earning a share of 10th place on the individual leaderboard. It marks her 10th career top-10 individual effort.
Pogacar carded scores of 73-72-72 to rank among the best in the 96-player field. She performed well on both the short and long holes. Pogacar tied for third with a 2-under ledger on Par 3’s and was slotted sixth at 4-under for Par 5 scoring. She concluded the event by dropping in five birdies in the third round.
Jaclyn Lee and Rio Watanabe were the next best competitors for Ohio State. Lee tied for 53rd at 12-over while Watanabe came in at T-59th after shooting 13-over. Lee started off with a 73 in the opening round and followed by registering rounds of 78-77. Watanabe improved as the tourney went on, lowering her tally in subsequent scores of 80-75-74.
Jessica Porvasnik was a three-time contributor to the team tally, posting rounds of 79-78-74 and tying for 65ht place. Lina Aguillon rounded out the OSU lineup and tied for 83rd at 21-over (78-81-78).
The Buckeyes placed 15th in the final team standings.
