With the Ohio State hockey 2015-16 season nearing, get to know the Buckeyes.
Logan Davis, from Upper Arlington, Ohio, is a junior goalie for the Buckeyes. A business administration major, he earned Big Ten Distinguished Scholar accolades in 2014-15 for posting a grade-point average of 3.7+ and has also been recognized as an Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and an Academic All-Big Ten selection. Davis has played in seven games for the Buckeyes, including the inaugural Big Ten Conference game Nov. 29, 2013 vs. Michigan. He has stopped two penalty shots in his career, has posted a shutout and picked up three wins.

My all-time favorite summer memory is … going parasailing with my dad.
This summer I visited … Middletown, Ohio.
My favorite spot in Columbus is … my parents’ house.
One thing I focused on this summer to prepare for the season was … running.
The food I would bring to a picnic is … toasted turkey sandwich, fruit and pudding.
The games I’m most looking forward to this season are … Michigan, Providence and Miami.
My favorite song to hear during warmups is … Chandelier by Sia.
My favorite part of hockey is … the speed of the game.
One summer I would like to road trip/vacation to … Japan.
The class I’m looking forward to this semester is … macroeconomics.
My favorite thing about the Schott is … the weightroom.
When I was home this summer, the thing I missed most about Columbus was … I’m lucky, I never had to leave.
I am excited for the 2015-16 season because … we have a great group of guys.
My favorite sport to play in the summer is … basketball.
The best thing about being a Buckeye is … the camaraderie.
The Buckeyes open the season with an exhibition game Saturday (1 day away), as they host Brock in Value City Arena. The regular season begins with a home-and-home series against Bowling Green Oct. 9-10, with the opening game in Columbus.
