FB: Ohio State to Host National Championship Celebration Saturday – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Buckeye fans are invited to celebrate the 2014 National Championship season with head coach Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes from 11 a.m. ET to Noon this Saturday, Jan. 24 at Ohio Stadium.
Gates will open at 9:30 a.m. Admission is free with general admission seating in A and AA decks. In addition, there will be room for 2,500 fans to stand on the field. Field tickets will be made available online at 10 a.m. ET Wednesday at www.ticketmaster.com, by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000, or in person at the Ohio State Ticket Office.
Parking also will be free in all surface lots and in the Lane, West Lane, Tuttle, Northwest, Neil Avenue and Arps garages.
BROADCAST INFORMATION
Can’t make it to the celebration? No problem. A LIVE broadcast on BTN and www.BTN2Go.com will begin at 10:30 a.m. ET. Dave Revsine will host in-studio and will be joined by Howard Griffith. Former Ohio State quarterback Stanley Jackson will provide live reports from the field inside Ohio Stadium. The broadcast will kickoff with a review of the entire 2014 season, including the exciting postseason run to the first College Football Playoff National Championship. Once the celebration begins, BTN will cover it in its entirety and will wrap up at approximately noon ET. Fans can also listen to the event LIVE on 97.1 FM the Fan in Columbus or online at www.971thefan.com.
NOTES/HIGHLIGHTS
- The celebration will be held at Ohio Stadium from 11 a.m. until 12 noon. Admission is free!
- Fans can enter the stadium beginning at 9:15 a.m. at these gates: North Rotunda 1, NR2, NR3, 7, 9, 11, 15, 23, 25, 8, 14, 16 and 24.
- Parking is free at all surface lots and in the following garages: Lane Avenue, West Lane, Tuttle, Northwest, Neil and Arps. See link to map abaove. (The exception is the West Stadium lot which will require a pass.)
- Coffee, hot chocolate and popcorn will be sold at A Deck concession stands, including a souvenir hot chocolate for only $5.
- Free collectables include a Homage rally towel upon entrance and a souvenir poster when leaving. (While supplies last)
- The second half of the national championship game will be played on the scoreboard starting at 9:30 a.m.
- The Columbus Dispatch will be selling copies of its Jan. 13, 2015, newspaper at two locations outside the stadium.
- The Big Ten Network will broadcast the celebration live, and 97.1 FM The Fan will carry the radio broadcast.
