COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s volleyball program is excited announce Alumni Weekend 2014. The event-filled weekend gets started on Friday, Sept. 5 at 7:30 p.m. when the Buckeyes face Florida Gulf Coast at St. John Arena as part of the Sports Imports D.C. Koehl Classic.
The 20-year anniversary of Ohio State’s 1994 Big Ten Championship is another highlight during Alumni Weekend 2014. Long time head coach Jim Stone and his ’94 charges will be celebrated for his final conference crown.
All alumni will be recognized at Friday night’s match and are invited to attend a tour and tailgate on Saturday (Sept. 6) prior to enjoying the skull session in St. John Arena. Football tickets will be available for past volleyball alumni to purchase through the ticket office. The annual Sports Imports Classic picnic on Sunday (Sept. 7) wraps up the weekend prior to a 2 p.m. contest versus Southern Illinois.
