EAST LANSING, Mich. – The No. 23 Ohio State women’s gymnastics team posted a 195.675 in a quad meet with Michigan State, Nebraska and Illinois Saturday afternoon in East Lansing, Mich.
Ohio State began the meet on balance beam, tallying a 48.250. Maggie Dunn posted a team-best 9.825 to tie her career high.
The Buckeyes then notched a 49.075 on floor exercise. Alex DeLuca tallied a 9.875 for a third-place finish while Sarah Miller and Melanie Shaffer each posted a 9.825.
Ohio State moved to vault in the third rotation, tallying a 49.150. Tenille Funches tied her career-best 9.900 to tie for first while Miller posted a 9.825.
The Buckeyes finished the meet with a season-best 49.200 on uneven bars. Victoria Aepli and Shaffer each tallied a 9.875 to tie for third while Funches and Samantha Kent tallied a 9.850.
Funches posted a career-best 39.275 in the all-around.
The Buckeyes travel to State College, Pa., for the Big Ten Championships at 2 p.m. March 22.
