12 named Academic All-Big Ten Conference – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Twelve Ohio State Buckeye football players, including five starters, were named Academic All-Big Ten Conference by the league today for having an overall grade point average of 3.00 or above.
Four starters along the offensive line were named to the academic honor roll: graduate student and OT Darryl Baldwin, junior C Jacoby Boren, sophomore OG Pat Elflein and red-shirt freshman OG Billy Price. Baldwin has now been honored by the Big Ten for his academics three times. It is the second honor for Boren and the first for Elflein and Price.
Additionally, 1,000-yard rusher Ezekiel Elliott is also on the Big Ten honor roll for a first time. Criteria include having a GPA above 3.00, at least a sophomore in eligibility and a letterwinner.
