Tanner Fritz, a native of Grande Prairie, Alberta, is a senior captain for the men’s hockey team. He has played in 115 games for the Scarlet and Gray and is closing in on the 100-point mark, with 28 goals and 64 assists in his career. This season, he has a team-high six assists and nine points and was tabbed a preseason Big Ten Player to Watch. A sport industry major, Fritz is an Academic All-Big Ten choice and Ohio State Scholar-Athlete on course to graduate this spring.

Do you prefer Oval Beach in the Fall or Spring (or maybe the Winter)? – Fall because all of the beautiful trees and leaves.
Where is the best place to sit for lectures? – The middle of class.
Most underrated place to study on campus – Library
Why did you choose to major in Sports Industry? Because I want to stay in sports after my career in hockey is finished (Sports Industry)
Describe your first day as a student at The Ohio State University? – It was exciting and nerve wracking at the same time, but it’s a day I will always remember.
