Buckeyes Remain in Fourth Heading into Final Round – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s golf team remains in fourth after two rounds of play at the SMU Dallas Athletic Club Invitational with a two-round score of 30-over 605 on the par 72, 6,301-yard Dallas Athletic Club.
Oklahoma State moved from sixth place to take the lead heading into the final round of play with a 24-over 600. Julie Yang of Oklahoma State was the only player to shoot under par on the day and leads all players with a two-round score of 6-under 138.
The senior duo of Amy Meier and Susana Benavides finished the second round in the Top 5. Meier ended the second round in third place with a 4-over 76 and is third overall with a 4-over 148. Benavides jumped from 14th to tie for fourth after carding a 2-over 74 on the day. The Cochabamba, Bolivia, native posted a pair of birdies in the back nine to finish with a two round score of 5-over 149.
Claudia Lim moved up one spot to tie for 17th with a 9-over 153, while Jan Chanpalangsri notched a 12-over 156 to sit in a tie for 28th. Allison Harper concluded the day with a two-day score of 18-over 162.
