Dastrup to Represent Team USA at DTB Cup – Team Challenge in Germany – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State men’s gymnastics freshman Jake Dastrup will compete as a member of the U.S. Men’s National Team this weekend at the DTB World Cup – Team Challenge at the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart, Germany.
“This is a great opportunity for Jake to gain experience while representing Team USA at an international competition,” Ohio State head coach Rustam Sharipov said.
Dastrup, along with teammates Akash Modi, Paul Ruggeri and Donnell Whittenburg, will compete against teams from Brazil, Bulgaria, China, France, Great Britain, Germany, Japan, Russia, Switzerland and the Ukraine.
Competition opens Friday, Nov. 29 at 9 a.m. ET with the qualification round and concludes Saturday, Nov. 30 at 9 a.m. ET with the final round. The top four teams after the qualification round advance to the finals.
