Soccer Plans Busy Off-Season – Ohio State Buckeyes

Columbus, Ohio – Ohio State, fresh off its NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance in November, will face a number of opponents in scrimmage matches this spring.
The Buckeyes will host Marshall and Cleveland State for matches on Saturday, March 4, at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center indoor turf. The Buckeyes will play Marshall at 4:30 p.m. and Cleveland State at 6:30 p.m.; the two opponents will face off in between at 5:30 p.m.
Ohio State will host Grand Valley State Saturday, April 7, at 9 a.m.
The Buckeyes will be at home against West Virginia and Pitt on Sunday, April 22. Ohio State will play WVU at 1 p.m. and Pitt at 3 p.m. The Mountaineers and Panthers will play in between at 2 p.m.
Ohio State travels to Louisville on Saturday, April 14, for a scrimmage against the Cardinals.
The Buckeyes will host an Elite ID Clinic on Saturday, February 18. Ohio State soccer will hold a number of camps during June as well. The goal is to provide a balanced learning environment that is both challenging and fun, with curriculum for all levels of abilities and ages.
A half-day camp June 11-14 and June 18-21 allows campers ages 6-11 an opportunity to learn the great game of soccer and improve individual skills. Sessions will run 9-11:30 a.m. daily.
Day camps June 11-14 and June 18-21 will balance individual skill development with mini-tournaments and games. Sessions will run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily for campers ages 6-11.
June 17-20, the Buckeyes will host a three-hour evening camp for middle and high school-age players.
Ohio State’s residential camp for ages 11-19 runs June 23-26, providing participants with opportunities to improve and increase their skills in a variety of situations, sorted by age and ability.
