VIDEO: Stoneburner-Fragel Talk Fall Camp
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Our final video preview of fall camp features tight ends Jake Stoneburner and Reid Fragel.
Stoneburner provides a big target at tight end or in the slot and has continued to make gains in terms of strength and power. He figures to be a key component in the Ohio State passing game in 2011 with so much youth at receiver. He was the fourth-leading receiver on the team last season with 21 catches for 222 yards and two TDs. He caught five passes for 61 yards and a TD in the Ohio win. Over the final three games, he caught nine passes for 98 yards.
Fragel is a towering tight end with good agility and strength. Last year he caught nine passes for 121 yards and a touchdown as a sophomore. He caught a two-point conversion at Wisconsin before hauling in a 5-yard TD catch at Iowa. At the end of the season he had a career-long reception with his 42-yard catch and run in the Sugar Bowl.
The Buckeyes will begin game preparations this week for their 2011 opener against Akron Saturday at Ohio Stadium (Noon ET, ESPN, 97.1 The Fan).
