The Ohio State women’s basketball team kicks off the 2011-12 season and welcomes Tennessee State to Value City Arena Sunday. The Buckeyes, under the direction of 10th year head coach Jim Foster, return three starters, including Big Ten preseason co-player of the year Samantha Prahalis. The team will feature the youngest lineup in the Big Ten this season, featuring five freshmen and four sophomores.
The Ohio State/Tennessee State tip is set for 2 p.m. Sunday from Value City Arena.
