Spring Practice Notes Version III – April 6
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State returned to the football practice fields – field – Tuesday after a couple of days off. This fourth of 15 spring sessions – a number that includes the Spring Game Presented by Nationwide set for April 24 in Ohio Stadium at 1:30 p.m. – featured the players hitting and colliding in full pads under another near-record day temperature-wise. – MORE –

Strong Winter Propels Ohio State in Directors’ Cup Standings COLUMBUS, Ohio – Behind a winter-high 430 points, Ohio State has moved into second place in the 2009-10 Learfield Director’ Cup standings. The Buckeyes finished in the Top 25 nationally in fencing, wrestling, men’s basketball, men’s swimming, women’s basketball and women’s swimming and now have 703 points overall, 89 behind leader Stanford. – MORE –
