Amanda Furrer Advances to the NCAA Smallbore Rifle Finals, Finishing Seventh – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio –Ohio State rifle team member Amanda Furrer (Fr., Spokane, Wash.) finished seventh in smallbore rifle at the NCAA Championships. The event is being hosted by Texas Christian. She advanced to the championship finals by shooting a 582 in her relay. In the finals, Furrer shot a 96.7 to finish seventh with a combined score of 678.7. The event was won by Sarah Scherer of Texas Christian with a 685.0.
