Turner Sets Records with 6th Big Ten Weekly Award, 9th Career
Evan Turner averaged 24.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists in a split with No. 4 Purdue and at No. 11 Michigan State last week. The junior guard connected on 17-of-38 (.447) shots from the field and went 14-of-20 (.700) from the foul line while adding three steals in 80 minutes of action. The weekend slate marked Turner’s seventh and eighth contests against ranked opponents this season. – MORE –

Final Regular Season Road Game Takes Buckeyes to State College Thad Matta will coach his 100th Big Ten Conference regular season game at Penn State Wednesday. His overall win percentage in conference games among Ohio State coaches is No. 1 overall but will be second to Fred Taylor after the first 100 regular season league games. Taylor won 75 percent of the first 100 games vs. conference foes. – MORE –
