Buckeyes Face Third-Seeded Stanford in the NCAA Regional Semifinals Friday at Dayton
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s volleyball team (24-11 overall), with a first round 3-1 win over Lipscomb and a second round 3-2 victory over 13th-ranked Dayton advanced to the Dayton regional semifinals in the NCAA Division I Championship. OSU will face third-seeded Stanford (26-3) at 6 p.m. at the University of Dayton Arena, Friday, Dec. 10. – MORE –

Anne Wilkinson Named Dita/NFHCA West Region Coach of the Year COLUMBUS, Ohio – Anne Wilkinson, 15th-year head coach of the Ohio State field hockey team, was named the 2010 Dita/NFHCA Division I West Region Coach of the Year, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association announced Tuesday. In 2010, Wilkinson guided the Buckeyes (18-5, 5-1 Big Ten) to their top performance in over 40 years of field hockey at Ohio State. – MORE –

Important Traffic Information For Men’s Basketball Fans Autumn quarter commencement at the Schottenstein Center and a home men’s basketball game at St. John Arena will bring more than 30,000 people to campus on Sunday (12/12). Both events have a 2 p.m. start time, which means that highways, campus streets and parking facilities will be unusually congested and travelers should plan to arrive early. – MORE –
