Ohio State players met with reporters after practice Tuesday to talk about the upcoming game with No. 3/3 USC Saturday at Ohio Stadium (8 p.m. ET, ESPN).
Among the players were tight end Jake Ballard, wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher, cornerback Andre Amos, defensive lineman Cameron Heyward and long snapper Jake McQuaide.
Quotable:
Tight end Jake Ballard
On sophomore QB Terrelle Pryor:
“I think Terrelle is doing a great job. He’s hitting open receivers, he’s not trying to force too many throws and he’s definitely maturing as a quarterback.”
Defensive lineman Cameron Heyward
On the defensive line:
“It’s definitely going to come down to the trenches (on Saturday) on both sides. We know both our O-line and D-line have to step up. Hopefully we can win both battles. We have to get pressure on them on the defensive front.”
Be sure to check back tomorrow to hear from coaches Jim Heacock and Jim Bollman.
